The first thing that sets us apart is the experience our patients have in our clinics. We take the time to get to know you, your health goals and any conditions you are suffering from. When you visit a Wilbeck Chiropractic clinic location, we’re going to do a thorough consultation. One of our expert doctors is going to sit down with you and ask you questions about your condition, we’re going to get to know what’s causing your pain and it how long it’s been going on.
Once we complete our initial questions, we perform a thorough examination and we’ll run a range of tests on your spine. We’ll physically evaluate your spine, checking the alignment, this will give us a really good idea of what’s going on and options for treating you.
Depending on what the doctor finds during their exam, we may or may not need to take x-rays. If x-rays are needed we’ll typically take them during your first visit so that our team of doctors can sit down and review your results during your return visit. During the return visit we look over the x-rays and initial exam findings then diagnosis your pain and develop a plan of action for what it’s going to take to correct your issues. We are typically ready to review patient information as soon as the next day. We show you what the cause of your problems are and we’ll outline a treatment plan so that you know what it’s going to take to recover.
We’re Not Like the Big Chiropractic Chains
Big chiropractic chains offer a membership-based type of care, typically referred to as concierge chiropractic, that can feel like a fast-food establishment or revolving door. This is common of big chains and that’s okay, but most of the time, they’re very quick and fast paced; they don’t take the time to perform a thorough exam, often resulting in a missed diagnosis and prolonged pain symptoms.
Most large chiropractic chains don’t offer x-rays, this means they can never truly determine the root cause of a spinal misalignment. Big chain chiropractic can be more budget friendly, but the quality-of-care and treatments match the price that you’re paying.
Large chains just treat the surface level symptoms, they don’t treat the cause of your pain. Another issue that you may run into if you were to choose to go to a membership-based chiropractor, is they don’t accept your providers health insurance.
